Re: 990 cat loader (WERKING)
thanks Aaron
to answer Mario's ? from the trailer build . I was digging pea gravel well except for the mixing thing with the radio . the pump would always go down to the steering settings and wouldn't have the hair to pick up a full bucket . So I just put the pump full on or full off then moved the coal pile twice till I blew the clipard cylinder I used for steering well It was leaking right off the bat but desided to leak alot more no vid will get 1 soon I hope right now I'm trying to make new steer cylinders and my own spool type valve . I hate these robbies it's not the style I hate just the tolerances are piss poor . you tighten them to eliminate the bypassing then you can't turn them . I had brass bushings (not oil lite )that I made for my axle shafts while waiting for bearings , well they started to sieze up so in went the bearings . easiest set of axles I worked on to date not to mention tough as carbide , so to speak

first vid will not up load but here's 1 to show the speed ranges . you can tell which front tire has BB's in it and which does not need to get another 8500 BB's I need to retake a vid of it moving pea gravel . might put the Mack in it too

thanks much Ed thanks Kaf well a little set back need to remake the front I had issues with the z link then once I got the right dimensions for that I also got the right boom , cylinder dimensions . I thought I could get away with just remaking the boom but now I can't get the bucket flat on the ground I could add extensions to the boom frame work to bring the boom pivot point up , BUT that'll look like poo . Soooooooooo , re-cut time but in steel not to worried about weight

Re: 990 cat loader (WORKING)
Oakydoaky finally goy a vid of this baby diggin now I'm not use to usin a raidio to operate . Also the valves are going to take some gettin use to . But I'm slowly getting the bugs werked out of er I'm going through battery quick on the pump . but thats because the radio not set up right yet . I gotta go through a 100+ pages to figure what I'm doin wrong
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4OKB...ature=youtu.be some pics of the new front from plate to assembly since these are in the pics I'll show them I just couldn't resist with the mill being idle for a couple days been gettin antsy seeing a 374 and the start of a 390 soooo here's the in betweeners been planning for almost a year on them . 1 will have a mass stick and the other will have no stick but something in it's place thanks for looking

Re: 990 cat loader (WORKING)
Thanks Reg , you do a fine job your self . I got that VMC to help with the parts I make for ppl , if it wasn't for that , I'd be building the same way you are with manual machines . I spent some stick time today with the loader . A lot of the probs I have is the transition from real machine control to the radio . I'm gettin it though . no vids though I gotta fig. why the h3!! it takes so long to upload anything anymore

Re: 990 cat loader (WORKING)
didn't make indy or nat. pike shows so I spent a few hrs movin packed sand and #57 gravel mix . the remnants from pouring my shop floor a couple years ago . no vids I attached all the teeth 1st , boy this thing can dig . 1st pic shows the reason for the 12 lbs counter weight has at least that in the bucket .
I hope to get some primer this week when I go out for appointments . I'm just reluctant to tear it down to paint like the mack they work
