Thanks!!

SO between paint getting messed up and getting the flatbed put back together i was working on a way to make the pipes mount to the rack as easy as possisble. heres what i came up with.. This is version 1 and im sure there will be a few before i try it with a set of S&P's pipes
so heres a mock up with the old rack i made and some 1/2" copper..

Took a reg soup can and made some cuts

Drilled some holes and added a screw making the loop as tight as poosible
(and trust me the pipes are not going to move!!)

Just about as realistic as i can get with it without making a mount on the rack and bolting the strap to the mount on the rack like on the 1:1's

What do ya think?? Ill prob make another 20 before i can get the 4 i need to be perfect...

Thanks for looking

i think outside the box for making stuff.. pop cans are too thin but soup can was good. for the flaps you could try both. I used to use a pop can to reproduce a hood and fender on a 1/25 scale car then send it into a wall... made it look like real damage from a wreck...

Thanks Buddy!! I cant wait to see slum lord in person!

SO came home from work sick today but didnt feel like sleeping so heres what i got done today.
Put the hinges on the box that i started months ago and put a door on it. moved the rear axle on the flatbed back 1/2" and came up with this

It will house this as i got some lights installed as well

So heres the lights for now equal on both sides 12 total

Also got a few finishing details done on the lowboy as well

Heres both almost ready for indy!

Hoping to poss add a trailer light kit to both or one of the trailers so i have brake and turn signals.. both trailers only have side marker lights for now untill i figure out which route im going to go.. May make my own 6wire harness and light kit but using magnetic switches to turn on the lights..

Thanks for looking!!

Aaron, those two trailers are looking great behind the Globe. They would look great with the signals hooked up on them and would really finish this setup off well.

Thanks guys!!

Well i said id prob get the other box made yesterday (which i did) but today i got them painted as well as a few other things.
2 cans of paint again and again 2 different shades.... Im done trying to match the color now so it is what it is...

Got a few more touches done on the flatbed, now sure if im going to change it again a few things to work out on it.
Took shelving runners and laid them into the bed area
Sanded the front plate and polished it up on one side (facing trailer)
got both tool boxes made, functional locks
here are the pics..

Still need to adjust the light bar a little

Shiney

Thanks for looking!! Still trying to decide need your input on what looks better... For the front pate, shiney facing the load or the truck??? I may polish the other side still but for now only one side will be polished.
