According to this video, it seems to do OK with digging (although loose dirt).

But sometimes it could be due to operator not performing as good as the machine will allow (me think).

Yea, that's the newer all metal version. Most concerns were on the bruder conversions they do where they retain some of the plastic, so less weight.
