New Member from Long Island NY

Names AJ I am from Long Island NY, Recently me and a buddy got Tamiya Big rigs and I am just seeing who else near by are into these. Not sure if they're any groups or local shows or even those events you see with construction sites etc. I am a noob to RC Semi trucks but not to RC. I have been doing RC since I was 8-9yrs old (35 now) I have always raced locally and traveled most of the tri-state area to race 1/10th-1/8th off-road events ( Upstate NY,CT, NJ, PA, Boston). I appreciate any info I could receive and can't wait to possibly meet anyone or attend something close by.
