RSD,

How you coming on the tonka drivetrain project? I have two dump trucks and the truck chassis under my dragline that I want to convert. I have bought a few differential sets from odd assorted RC cars but have not landed on an ideal solution yet.

Does it fit as a straight swap for the Tamiya 3 speed?

I would recommend this as a must do for all the Tamiya truck line.
Your recommendation is enough for me. I just ordered a 1:14 version to put in the KH I have.
