Where do you guys get the vises for the baby bench top mills ? I looked at HF and MSC , no luck . I need a good manual mill but I'm stuck with the tige for little longer and the Vise that came with it ( as Lynn warned ) is crap . Also out lived any more tweeking that I could doo with it .

Sherline is one that I use. The other is a drill vice that I adapted to fit my small mill.

Try Little Machine Shop they should have one of what you want and if they do and they and you are going to Cabin Feaver you can buy it and tell them to bring it it the show that should save you some money. Ed

Thanks guys , I'll look around at cabin fever . I really need a bridgeport size manual mill for which I got plenty of vises to fit . I've seen grizzly has a single phase clone with a DRO for not too bad a price . I'm just skeptical on quality . I'll need to make a trip to Muncy some day to look at em .

I'm happy with my little grizzly, the Chinese don't spend enough time scraping the ways, vs old school US stuff.
Cheers!

Grizzly is basically in my backyard, 15 min away, they are already gone. I would look at little machine shop, it was nice having grizzly that close as no other places around that I could sameday break something and drive to get new. Back to everything mail order vices are something I would spend a little $ on. Got a couple cheep mill vices at grizzly and they are not very true. The one silver 2" adjustable angle vice was not parallel to table by .05", really hard to get a square angle. I messed with it and got it parallel down to .02. If ya don't need too accurate I'll bring it to cabin fever
