Man! These companies from China are ruthless. They would copy a trud if there was a chance to make a buck.

I like the Mack as well and they fit the Tamiya chassis perfect.

So the globeliner cab/mouldings accessories are all the same as in the Tamiya Kit.

If so, about how much is it.

I planed on getting the globelinner kit, and destroying it.

for the cab... But if the cab's are the same. I might think about this one.

Same kinda plastic..

Thanks
Cody

God, the Chinese have no concept of copyright, even of logos. Did you guys know that there is a Chinese knock off of the BMW X5? Identical in ALL but the name. Shocking what they get away with.

Anyway, anyone any idea on pricing of these things? They have to cheap because the sure look cheap, very plasticy. I guess you get what you pay for. The mirrors, wheels, tyres etc all look pretty crap, but if you are only stealing certain parts, like the body, it's probably worth it.

They say that it's 1:16, anyone know if there are cross fitment issues or is this just a mistake or copyright get out clause on their behalf?

swagger
i'm no lawyer but from what ive read and heard. if tamiya makes the original
and you copy it and change a few key parts lets say Rims, grill, head lights
and one or two other small changes then its not a 100% ripoff...

this is mostly from my dealing with guns colts 1911's ar-15's
VS kimber,dpms and so on

But i still want the knock off globe liner for a project and DO NOT want to
buy a case of them!!!
