Default IH 9800 COE Fleet truck

A new project that I got.It started out as a tilt cab. When I worked at N.A.V.L. I hated these trucks now I'm building one. Here is The new chassis. Some of you may recognize this.Yes it's Alfy's cab. I needed a trailer so I started out with a tanker. It has a light kit and motorized landing gear.I would like to build a moving van trailer when the truck is complete.

Thanks. In the earlier posts I said I was going to build a moving van trailer for it. The tanker is for another build I have going that's not posted. But back in the day those trucks hauled the trailers in all our divisions. HVP ,household, CT,car carriers , flatbed and even tankers. But you are correct now days I only see these hauling corn at harvest time sitting on farms.

I'll be watching this one, waiting to see it come together. I used to see a ton of these trucks, growing up, but they were all J.B. Hunt, Roehl or Schneider fleet trucks. Not to many of these around anymore.

I love your build, I want to do a COE next. That bumper looks really nice too. Your wheel choice is perfect.

Thanks! I need to find some RC4WD rims for the trailer now. I'm running the RC4WD low profile tires on the trailer. I went and picked up some metal for the trailer today.Heres what I have done top deck, main deck and suspension. Here are a few pics.

I've had this build on the back burner for awhile.Time to get some progress done on it. Picked up a box trailer rather then scratch building. Gonna tear it down and paint it the blue and white NAVL colors. Got some RC4WD steel wheels for it.
