Default Midnight Pumpkin scale close to semi's?

I've never actually seen a semi, other than my Volvo cab I have now, but I have a Midnight Pumpkin body and I was just wondering if anyone else can compare the two and see if they look about right together.
I know officially the Midnight Pumpkin is 1/10, but the body runs much smaller.

Hey Thor. Over on Scale 4x4, a friend of mine, Rick, aka Rogue posted a picture of a Pumpkin body on a Wedico chassis. I think the Pumpkin body is around 1/12 scale. Another member here, named Chris, aka Oztruck (I think) has also mounted the same body on a Tamiya single axle rig chassis. I think his thread is also on Scale 4x4. I don't think either guy has made a thread here showing off the Pumpkin as a Ford semi truck yet. You might want to search over there, or I'll see if maybe I can find their posts.

Harry, (aka Bullitt) used a Pumpkin body as the basis for his rat rod service truck project as shown here...

That's not the build thread of course but I'm sure Harry may be adding the entire thread shortly.

Cool, thanks for that, and now that you mention it, I remember seeing one awhile back. I wasn't thinking of putting it on a semi chassis though, but I was playing around and cut a semi tire to fit a 1/18 wheel and it looks great in the Pumkin wheel opening. So I was thinking it would be cool for another truck to have one day when I finish my Volvo to bring to a truck meet

Drat, yeah I just went and compared the Pumpkin to my Volvo cab, it is almost as wide. But maybe they would still look okay running together. I like big pick-up trucks!

Hey Thor,
The MP cab will make a great body if you want to put an 18R chassis underneath it. I am not sure about the Weidco chassis, but I can tell you that I narrowed my Tamiya front axle and widened the front fenders to get the tires under there. I think I stuck the front fenders out 3/8"per side and I think I narrowed the axle 1/2".

My US6 Studebaker has a MP cab as its base. It is close to 1/12th scale. It did look big compared to the big rigs running around at Indy this Past weekend.
