I believe they are talking about using air cylinders to run hydraulic oil in. You do not want to run air in the cylinders or the model would act real jerky and not smooth. Like when you dump the load out of the bucket the arms would pop to the top end kind of jerky moves

Auh, i see... thanks for clearing that up Pugs... steep learning curve here, but I'll get there. In that case, I suspect I'll be going electric on the cylinders since hydraulic still seems too complex/pricey for me at this time.
