At this point I have played around with some silvering (the grab handles and some exposed edges) of worn off paint... just to see how that looks before any other weathering process is used. Of course, not pictured here. I don't even have the turret placed correctly in the hull with these shots.

Have a couple of water jerry cans I used 800 grit paper on to knock off the shine then applied a water based grey wash that seems to give it a 'dirty rained on' look but overall it will not have the overdone (in my eyes) excessive rusting & chipping that I see alot.


The mud texturing and dusting right now is my primary concern as these tanks were built in the Spring of '45 and didn't have much exposure to the elements. Kinda like a brand new tank off the line.
