Default Snowman build

So, figured I would post a few pics of my build of Snowmans truck from Smokey and the Bandit. Enjoy!

and the first body I did for it, and one I still have for it, though I just switched it out because I just wasn't happy with the paint and tried to remove it and melted plastic. at least I learned about Super Clean for later paint removal!

in this one, you can see the problems with paint and so on I had.

Nice build man, I'm very impressed with the paint job on the tractor. And where did you get the trailer graphics? Are they from the guy in the UK that sells em on eBay? And how was the quality of the trailer graohics?

And here is the finished second body! I decided to go with the decals just because I was getting impatient with the paint on this one. So, instead of an exact paint match for the Snowmans truck, I'm going an "updated" look for it. Eventually I'll order a new body and do the original paint and match the body styling to W series. I learned a lot of lessons for my first truck build that I will incorporate on my next build.

and just for fun, my last SC body I finished this past weekend for my AE SC10 4x4. I'm so much more used to painting RC bodies that it feels like a whole other world doing the Tamiya bodies. ;-) it won't look this pretty much longer after it hits the track this weekend!

and my T4

Thank you! The paint on the new tractor is better IMO. the first one I screwed it up to much, especially when I melted some of the paint when I tried to strip it.

Yea, the graphic is from the Ebay guy in the UK, and it's fantastic! They did a phenomenal job on it and I definitely plan on buying from them again if I need graphics done that way again.

It would help if I posted it huh? LOL http://www.ebay.com/usr/screenprintdigital that's their page. I do recommend them as they did a fantastic job on it.

Thanks guys! The suns out today, so I'll get some outside shots of it with trailer. glad the rain is gone to go have some fun.

I've been going through the tech section and seeing how people are building and modifying the cabs (mainly the custom plastic work) and it makes me want to do build another truck. You all do some amazing work!

Thanks! It's been fun working on it it. And after looking around at different photos of antenna's online, thought I would give it a shot. I still want to try and rework the wiring and speaker to fit in the interior.
