Re: Midwest Fall Meet ~ Oct. 24 & 25
There is a company right near champagne that handles limestone, I'd imagine we can get it there. A shirt 20 min drive from Eli field. 1 or 2 tons will do us just fine.

Re: Midwest Fall Meet ~ Oct. 24 & 25
I think the limestone product you mite want is called 1/4 down. It packs nicely and could be used just itself for roadbed . Or I should say that what it is here in TN . It is a limestone product that is screened from the other sizes. The dirt that is there at Nates would work since it has so much sand inn it if you are wanting to put concrete down. Another product that would work is paver base from Lowes or Home depot, noy paver sand.

Re: Midwest Fall Meet ~ Oct. 24 & 25
I think what ever we use it needs to be compatible yet loose when raked up. I think the sand was a good idea but it has been proving hard to get any trucks thru it. I think we should move away from this (at least for the roadways). I also would like to set up the site so that we have more of a purpose where the dirt is being moved to and from. I feel that will help keep the roadways maintained better for the dump trucks that are trying to turn on them. Let me know if we do indeed get better materiel for spring. I will gladly help pay for it. Thanks again Nate for hosting it. This has been a great way to spend a few days out side with some cool trucks and machines.
