Default what is the temperature at he hydraulic pump?

With a temperature probe, what is the temperature on the hydraulic pump? Does not matter of make. Just after a good amount of use. Im curious at what temperature others are at. I'm seeing up to 48c.

I don't have a probe, mine are always just warm to the touch after a batt or two. I'm never outside in the sun with them.

Keep the oil under 160 degree Fahrenheit , and you'll be fine!
Cheers!

The ShellTellus 15 I use doesn't start to break down till fairly high temp, should be fine up to at least 65—70°C in the longterm, with an absolute Max of 115°c higher than that and it will lose its lubricating properties
