Default Add BEC to MFC-01

I've searched for this and haven't gotten a definite answer. So I thought I'd ask the experts.

I want to add a BEC to RX do to a lot of servo's.(don't want to over load MFC-01) Will be using 3 channels on MFC-01 (steering, throttle, shift) not support leg/fifth wheel hook up. (taped off) Using "Sportbec" from Dimension Eng. (5 volt setting)

So what I found out is to use a "Y" connector, BEC red/black wires (white signal wire pulled out), MFC-01 white signal wire (red/black wires pulled out)
Connect MFC-01 to "Y" (ESC/throttle), BEC to "Y", and then "Y" to receiver.

Now my question is will this work? And the other 2 channels of MFC-01 do the same with the "Y", so all 3 MFC-01 channels same "Y" procedure, is this correct?
If I do this will my MFU functions still work as normal?

Has any one added a BEC to the MFU? Please let me know if this info. is correct and will work or a better way.

Thanks
