Very nice! The D.O.T. stripes set the trailer off really well.

I really like the Cat D9. What scale is it and who makes it? Norscot?
Nathan, I believe that D9 is by 1st Gear, 1/25 scale.

Claus,

Yes, the CAT D9 is 1/25 scale and very detailed. See it here:

Did you use the decking from a Tamiya flatbed trailer kit or did you buy wood from a hobby supplier or what exactly did you do? It looks fantastic.

I still go back and look at this build sometimes, so bright and vibrant! That trailer looks so much better with color and wood decking.

Thanks Claus,
She still looks as good today as she did 5 years ago. See RCX 2016 pictures.

No problem! I guess I'm a jerk but I still like going back and looking at some of the older builds. Some guys may have missed some great builds if they were not around here 5 years ago or so.

I'm sorry, what I meant was if the truck wasnt in as good condition as it was five years ago I can understand. Five years is plenty of time for wear and tear. I wasn't around five years ago, so I too appreciate looking at the old builds. Previously I was never interested in the semi's so I also like to see where are the hobby has been, and what has been done. Other websites that I've been on have sections where people could go back and view completed builds. I'm still a newbie and have not spent too much time time on this website so I'm not sure if an area like that exists.

Alan have you ever thought about stretching the Globeliner, even slightly?
