radio question

Hello all i am new to the forum and i am building my first king hauler truck. I have put a few parts together of the kit and am absolutely loving it so far. My question is for the radio system. I have owned air planes and have always used jr radio systems and prefer jr but could possibly switch to futaba. Anyway i want to know if the jr sx600 would be a fit for the truck. I know the minimum requirements is a 4 channel but i would like to get at least a 6 channel so i can turn on only the lights i want on. is this possible any info would be greatly appreciated.

Im sure that JR radio would work fine. The only drawback with airplane style radios is no self centering throttle. Some radios can be taken apart and allow you to install a spring to make it self center. Otherwise you just need to put the throttle stick back to neutral manually.
