I was wondering if anyone has had success in obtaining miniature plow-bolts for cutting edges and end bits/routers for dozer blades. I guess the primary requisite is a flat or domed "recessed" head, the square shank wouldn't matter since its out of sight. At 1/16 they'd be M2 or M2.5 or even M3 would do. I have got some really good M2-M5 scale bolts and nuts from RC4WD's international site that I learned about here but I haven't found anything that resembles a plow-bolt with a recessed head. Miniature carriage bolts may do, again I haven't found any in M2-M3 size. Any ideas guys?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers

Are these what you mean? Dome head bolts (http://knupfer.info/shop/index.php/deutsch/nieten-nietenschrauben/nietkopf-schrauben/106-25-12-neu.html)

Thanks Stuart. On the right track, with a bit of work to look like tapered plow-bolts. Diameter at M2.5 is good = 40mm dia (1 3/4 ") in 1:1, excess length is easily ground off, and the head could be filed down and the bolt recessed into the 14-gauge (1.98mm) cutting edges. Or, recess them and file them off flush once in position. Thanks for the heads up. I was looking at some phillips head M3 PK tapered screws on the net, not sure how much of the head would be left once the screw drive slot was filed off though.

Solved. This may be of interest to other builders looking to have realistic plow-bolts on GET. Thanks to the heads up here and PM's, it turns out they are called Rivet Head Screws and have the desired shape. Here's an example I found scrounging around on the net after I learned what they were called. These are M2 and resemble a plow-bolt good enough. This seller wants minimum order of 5000 so I'll have to look around for the 60 I need.
