Hi guys would using a hot glue gun to secure plastic windows in place ruin the pain job on the out side of a model ?

I wouldn't think so, providing you only use a few "dabs" of glue on the edges of the windows on the inside of the body. I say that, because I've used hot glue to secure LEDs in the body of my Knight, and haven't noticed a problem. Just be sure not to let the tip of the glue gun sit in one spot too long. Mind you, I'm e "newbie" here, so some of the more senior members might have different thoughts. Good luck.

If the windows have a good fit - I like to use just a tiny dabs of tamiya blue goooo - the thread lock stuff.

I would think the temp on the glue is low enough. Remember just a little dab will do.

I had my first run in with a glue gun last week..didn't go so well. Glued everything but what I need glue on. I was told they are going to get a court order so I cant use one again
