Hello everyone,

Just signed up to the forum so thought I introduce myself.

Been into RC Tanks 1/16 scale for a few years now but over a last year or so got into trucks and construction vehicles. Now I’m not really a modeler, so get more enjoyment out of re-engineering models so my recent conversions have included a Bruder dozer to full RC with lift/lower & tilt blade and lift/lower drag claw as well as lights. Also nearly completed is a Bruder Scania to RC with full lighting and sounds using the IBU2 Truck control unit.

I also became a dealer for the IBU-electronics (http://www.ibu-electronics.com) about 2 years ago. Since then following customer request expanded my range of items to sell various other items including the Polish built TARR smoke units which are mainly for the tank customers but also had interest from truck and boat customers. But the main reason for joining the forum is because I recently purchased a Magom HRC MG1.4 excavator complete with hydraulics.

This is a very nice kit but unfortunately does not come with instructions and as a total newbie with hydraulic systems I turned to the internet which found the forum with plenty of information on the matter. So I be posting pictures and questions in the construction section.

Certainly have seen many of the Bruder converted models from Magom, but haven't seen their full metal version yet... does the hyd system for this version still use antifreeze for its fluid power or have they upgraded their pumps for hyd oil for greater fluid power?

I don't want to be a heavy on your 1st post, but I hope you read the rules you accepted before joining our forum about advertising & sales rules? We don't let just any one throw up a shingle. The requirements are pretty simple for your own Vendor's forum, but it must be approved by the Admin team 1st. Contact a mod if you choose to be a part of our Vendor list.

Welcome! Nice range of products you have there. I'm interested to see one of your smoker units perform in a truck or excavator! And yes, please post lots of pics on the new excavator!

Sorry I’ve tried edited my post but cannot see how, I did only mention it to give history of me but I see it could have been read as advertising.

The Magom excavator I bought is 1/14 scale, and the hydraulics in this use a high torque low speed brushless motor and HLP15 oil. I think from memory the pump details which it came with said pump works up to 35bar but the pressure bypass is set at 18bar. As it’s all new to me I don’t know if that is good or bad.

I’ve now started a post in the construction section, which has various pictures of unpacking.

That's ok, I just pointing it out to you incase you overlooked during registration, what you've written can remain, but if you wish to make prices for purchases public on the forum, then a Vendor forum of your own you must have. ;)

The edit post option for OP remains intact for only 20 minutes, after that a mod, super mod or admin will have to edit for you at your request... we had to take this measure yrs ago b/c of other troubles in other areas of the forum. Change a title, edit a link, whatever, we'll fix it for you. Hit the "Contact US" button at the bottom of Index page. ;)

Your specs on your pump sound like plenty, few hyd models I have run greater pressure than that. Depends on the size of cyls & weight of model how much pressure is necessary.
