Evening guys, I bought a second hand trailer today with lights and motorized legs. I didn't do my research before hand and now am in need of the parts for fifth wheel ( slider piece). I don't want to buy a whole kit, was hoping i could just build the slider out of aluminum if someone could let me know its dimensions and attachment I would be muchly appreciative.

What do you mean by "slider piece"? I might be able to help you out if you can be more specific or even post a picture.

There is a long piece that bolts to bottom of fifth wheel from what I can tell and actuates the trailer leg mechanism. It may be connected to the servo on truck as well.

I might have the piece you're looking for. Is it the long straight piece that has the slot in it?

I know this thread is older, but might help someone out. I think I know what you want to do is make your truck fifth wheel operate the support legs on the trailer? (via slotted slider piece) It takes more than that piece alone. The Support leg kit comes with 2 sets of plastic sprues in it, and you will have to by both plus some other hardware (unless you have some extra screws and small ball joint) I think Tamiya did it that way on purpose. I haven't priced it out but would probably cost almost as much as the whole kit with out the extra parts. (which might come in handy some day?) Unless you know some one nice with the extras!
