RC makes front page of local newspaper!

Back in the spring my backyard neighbour was checking out my RC park. Turns out he works at the local newspaper and said this would make a great article in the paper. I've always wondered who else locally is into this hobby and I figured what a great way to find out so I agreed.

The interview happened way back in August and the story kept getting bumped because of other more important local news:confused: I'm thinking, what could be more important! :D:lol:

I thought this would just be some page 3 article but got home today and saw this on the kitchen table...

OMG! My face is plastered on the front page?:eek: I don't know if I like this idea anymore. :lol: I've been contacted already about doing a charity event but....its in the states:eek::cop:

Anyway, here's the article. The reporter wants to come back when I hold my first RC meet next summer. :D

Your right Terry, we have the RC bug bad! I blame it all on the Indy show! The moment I saw pigeonfarmboys 850, Brian's dump trucks, Robs grader, the wedico loaders .... Got me hook line and sinker! :lol: now with a yard to use the toys, it's all been worth it and I'm in RC heaven for years to come. :)

As most of you know, I work for a CAT dealership. I got an email at work today from our corporate head office. Somehow, someway the director of communications saw my article in my local paper:eek:
I've been asked if I'm interested in making an article for the company newsletter!

Just a company paper but hey, what the heck. More publicity and this time I'm going to make sure I remember to give RCTC a shout out! :D

Well it took long enough but the winter issue of the company magazine came out today. :D. Having troubles trying to figure out how to take the scanned document I emailed my iPad and get it on here but....no luck yet so in the meantime, a couple pics of it. :)
