How many channels are needed for a Track loader?

Ordered a 12 channel remote it came today but I wasn't sure if I should keep it or go with a 9 channel.

Ok I'll keep it. Just didn't know if I'd ever use every channel.

you can run lights off a ch,lift axles, all kinds of stuff
my dump trailer tractor has a 9ch rx under the hood
