How to edit post ?

How do you edit a post after posting ? I don't seem to see any edit buttons around my message ?

I see it in the message posted above but doesn't seem available in older posts ?

You have 20 minutes to edit, after that you have to ask one of the moderators.

I guess this is still the case? I wanted to update the initial post in my build thread (and also hopefully my thread title), but just noticed no edit buttons. Never seen that before! :) I don't want to trouble a moderator so I can just let it go.
