Do you realize that it's a mini excavator (700KG)that's remote controlled?

Yes I do and it would be fun to operate considering it is totally hydraulic. It only 1500 lbs. Ed

How's it compare to the Kobelco SS1 or SS1/2 ?

It's like doorway width.

$ 16,000 I think I'll order 2 of them that way if one breaks down I will have the other one to finish what was doing. Ed :p

I'm not trying to start anything with this as I am genuinely curious. Did they say how they would take payment? I'm guessing they would want a bank transfer like the Chinese outfits do but maybe it's something different on 16K? Again, I'm not trying to be a smart azz this time.

i would be worried there only other listed products are r/c plain retracts
and valvebodies. i don't know,my valvebody works good but it only cost $120.00

Weight: 700 kg
Width with track: 143 cm
Height : 155 cm
Engine output : 9 kW
Max. Travel speed : 3 km/h
System pressure : 100 kg/cm2
Max. Pump flow : 36 L/min

Cool that it's already rc, just seems a little large... Wow, how big of a basement ya planning to dig under the house? How much cheaper is a non-rc similar size machine?

I don't think it can play nicely with Tamiya scale trucks.
