Futaba 9c radio

Hi I have a Futaba 9channel radio I am going to use for my excavator build. The left stick or throttle was not self centering, I bought the pieces to make it self center, however when I open the bar graph page for the servos, it shows the left stick off center, I tried to center using the trim but cannot get it to show it is centered. Anybody have this problem or have a fix?
