how can I make 2 sections of boom exstend at the same time using 1 hydraulic ram

i can't think of any way unless it's s along stroke ram, or electric motor and gear track, but found this on google...

yeah looks like the Idea but I seen someone build it on a log crane with like 1/2 inch square tube put the ram in there also was wondering how he did it wonder how I could do it with screw drive and make it fast but strong
