Problems getting my picture gallery to accept pictures

Is there a minimum number of posts you must make before your picture gallery starts working. I have been trying to upload pictures to my gallery and nothing is working.

You have to use a 3rd party hosting site, such as www.Flicker.com
Flicker is free to use. then you post the link here to show pics

It doesn't work because we can't direct upload.

Common 3rd party hosts include: Flickr, imgur, dropbox...

Avoid photobucket like the plague.
