Hello, looking to see if anyone has feedback about the two axle dump truck sold by Funktionsmodellbau . I see a video on YouTube but does not say if it's there model. Plus no info.. sent a message to them in hopes of making an order for one. Any help on this would be great. Thank you in advance Lenny. https://youtu.be/PNFO0NiFk2k

Hi lenny I went threw the comments on the video and it says that they are self made. Was a yr old so maybe now they are selling them. Good luck and keep us posted.

Lenny check out Gipsy_Jo youtube channel. He’s the only person I know of that bought the kit. He seems quite pleased with his.

Thank you for that Northern.. spoke with funktionsmodellbau yesterday and found out there built to order 4-6 weeks to complete. Guess I've waited long enough time to pull the trigger. Gipsy_jo sure would love to hear some feedback from you about this great looking model.

Happy to hear your pulling the trigger on one lenny. Let us know how it all goes. What's the cost on it?

Of course as soon as I set my sights on the funktionsmodellbau DZ200001, the Grumalu VF40 catches my eye. Waiting to hear back from them on prices. Keep you guys posted..

Was quoted 2550 for the VF40 basic kit from grumalu. So as it looks the funktionsmodellbau gets my vote.Parts are not included in the basic version kit:
Hydraulic pump
Hydraulic cylinder
Valve
Speedcontroler
painting (included is only anti corrosion protection)
Lights
Sound module
Battery
Remote control
Included:
All metal parts
Rims and tires
6 planetarygearmotors
Cabine

Lenny have you also considered Servonaut’s dump truck ? It’s pretty nice and price won’t break the bank.

Yes N.Farmer I did look at that unit too the only real turn off is not being 4wd. But your right that's a lot of truck for the price.

Happy to report I was notified that the unit is ready to be shipped out. Hopefully a week in transport, I'll keep you guys posted.

All in all I'm very pleased with the dump trucks performance. Easily lifts a full bed and plenty of torque. The electric steer takes some getting use to. https://youtu.be/QCf64_05QYU

Thanks for the vid Lenny! The steering is a learning curve due to pivot point or you think the actuation should be quicker/slower? Possibly more/less expo on TX?

Looks good Lenny! It's got no issues going back up the dirt mound. What's it weigh with lipo?

It's around 20lbs such a pleasure to move vs everything else. The whole motor for every wheel deal seems quite capable. Even way over loaded walks right up any ramps or piles I have. The steering is a magnet sensor type set up you can switch between automatic and self centering. And yes Benny still trying to find the sweet spot on radio set up.https://youtu.be/BQ5PJycwn4M
