jearbear0927, welcome to the forum, there are a lot of talented people here that can offer assistance and guidance as to begin your new hobby.

There is a group of people in the Detroit/Windsor, southeastern Michigan/northern Ohio area as well. You can find them on this forum too. Reach out for help when ever you have questions. Good luck on your build and try to post pictures of your progress.
