Hardboard roads

Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads...

I know that for the last several Indiana meets we have been using hardboard roads. They look nice, and are pretty good to drive on.

What thickness board is it?

What kind of paint works best?

They are right around 1/4" think.

Odd size as they are factory rejects from store display fixtures.

General household paint, I suggest outdoor grade.

We have near 200 approx 2x4 sheets.
