Here is is, my first real build. Standing 12" wide and 11" tall to the top of the cab, at 50" in length, here it is.

First the prototype I'm working from.

First test fit of the body on the frame. Messed up on the battery tray and engine bay.

Thank you. I should be able to get the shocks on some time this week.

So, with this update comes some carnage. I left the front axles on, which made it overbalance and fall off my shelf (Wheels hanging over the edge)

Rebuilt the entire cab and engine bay (roughed in. I'll need to adjust the side-panels a little bit) using plastic-cardboard from work's garbage.

Great start. Seeing it falling off a shelf must have hurt. I'm terrified of that happening to mine.

Shame that gravity works so well, glad to see it didn't crush your interest in the truck.

Please add your 'size letter' to your pics. L and h work well here

I've invested more into this truck than my other two crawlers and 3 drones. I'm not stopping just because I broke some styrene. The hydraulic pump just arrived yesterday, so I can start figuring out how to place it and the reservoir, and get the valve blocks ordered.

Curious about the drivetrain ... can you tell us more about choice of axles, transmission, etc? I think it's bigger than the 1:12 I would have expected.
