Hi

I got hold of some repair kits for my Leimbach pistons on my Wedico 966G as they are leaking badly with oil.

Anyone ever tried to fix these as I can't find any guides or similar online?

Best Regards

Carsten

I did my Cylinders and valve overhauling after 10years on my Cat345 and I needed to send this to Thicon-Models in Germany because Leimbach would not deal with foreign country's.

I'm in the same situation. My 996g is leaking on one of the steering cylinder. It's a newer production machine with very little use too. I had a second older 966g machine with a very early production # and that did not leak at all... go figure.
So any info on how to proceed with rebuilding would be appreciated.

Check with PMD Gardentrucking, they might have the repair kit from Leimbach with the different o-rings needed.

As for opening them, you should remove all fittings and put it in a vice, then gently twist the top/ top part off.

Thanks all. Joe also gave me a few tips and mentioned leimbach uses glue to seal the top cap. Has anyone found a source for the orings?

Hi
The numbers I know are:
30186-W or EHZW006 for steering cylinders
30188-w or ehzw007 for lifting arms and the showel tip

Numbers are from my empty bags I saved in case I needed more.

On bag the ehzwxxx seems to be leimbach number and the other from THicon
