A friend from other parts of the hobby asked me if our RC group was the ones attending this show?

I would guess this has something to do with what is posted on the Sept 2023 Lebanon, IN 'Fifties Fest' site?

Drive to back of hotel, find the "Event & Meeting Center" or "Conference Center" enterences.
$10 for toy show entry
$40 for rc pit pass
Good for the whole weekend

Looks like the Toy Show part is Fri 12p-6p / sat 9a-4p / sun 9a-1p.

Rc can stay late and play longer, they just box us into 1/3 of that room

Between the hotels thick pile carpet, our tarp roads, and fake grass, any Lightweight / Small-tire vehicles will be getting pushed around by the roads. It also makes some pretty rough curbs.

Sorry jerry, I snagged & posted those pics before i'd talked to anybody from the group.

There was a Nylint there running & dumping, but it was still on some tiny batteries

Had a VW that was getting thrown around on the road a lot.

Glad it wasn't the Low V-Dub.

And had a Mercedes-Benz that 'Extremely' wasn't happy with road conditions. Plus i forgot the deans-jst adapter for the battery its supposed to run. Jamal didn't even get to drive a whole lap.

(I may have bought an Ambulance, and was thinking about going back for a PowerDigger when everybody folded up shops)

Ok, so most of a Pressman toys 'Small Fry Hospital' 1950-53 Cadillac ambulance followed me home... it looks about 1/16 or 1/18 scale
No axles, or rear doors.
(Possible donors: NewBright 1957 Chevy has whitewalls with Tri-bar caps that would look great under it with axle widening. Or Jada had a charger on Supremes/Cragars/TorqueThrusts)

Not sure on the nylint PowerDigger, it was on tracks with the later House style than my crane has, with the weird anti-glare angled windows. I think set up as facing shovel, was folded in box under their table

Ok I gotcha ...Some used the house from the Michigan crane and the newer ones used the newer stye house....

I believe the metal truck with train engine on the flat deck was built by "Goodison" on this board, not sure if there was a thread. I think i might have seen that truck cab at HobbyLobby as new production?

As i was leaving, another gentleman was setting up some trucks with more train equipment loads

I thought it might be a "hobby Lobby" truck....
