moved to the states and dont really know anyone locally in the hobby and dont have facebook anymore, so here we go. This has taken a long time to get to this stage there are many printed bogie cases in the bin that didnt fit but these fit together nice and are smooth no binding, its 3dprinted at the moment once im happy ill get some steel plates cut to fit the front which will stengthen everything. Driving gears are all mod 1 steel, the transfer gears are nylon from electric bike hub, there are planetary outputs to the wheels supported by bearings. Diff gears are from some 1/7 arma truck i found them on ebay.

im reprinting a larger diffcase because my scale was off on the original needed more width. Tires are jumbo kongs, 220mm diameter.

That's gonna be a beast.
What kind of forestry machine is it going to be?

You mentioned moving & not knowing any Local people, where's Local?

I'm guessing a forwarder. Used like a skidder but with boom to lift/place logs and a bunk to stack them in to haul out of woods.

I'm curious, why so large?

komatsu 931 when its finished, maybe a forwarder after depending on how smoothly this goes, i moved to middle georgia.

why so large? to fit stuff in easier, before i moved i had a 1/10 timberpro feller buncher i was working on and things were tight but id messed about with a chainsaw a bit and got something that would cut carrots and maybe fingers so when i got here i thought it would be a nice long term project as i cant get a job for another couple of months. Also i already have a 1/12 tigercat buncher in the works and trailer mounted log loader. ill get some pics up stand by.
