How do you guys take your trucks to shows or wherever you may without breaking them? How much gear do you guys take with you to a show? Are you equipped for a breakdown?

I made a Styrofoam box for mine. I got this idea from others in the hobby. I believe that Gerry K was the pioneer of this concept. I went to lowes and got a 4x8 sheet of 3/4 think foam and cut it, glued and taped it together to make a box with a lid. I also put blocks in side to keep the vehicles from rolling around. They really work nice!

Alot of guys make boxes out of insulation board, with special glue that doesnt eat the foam. and then you tape the edges with duck tape. I always carry alot of extra parts, a tool box, and $$$. This way if you cant fix it maybe you can ask for help, or possibly buy from another person. Most guys are willing to help out !!

these box's like some of you guys made are very cool .
I been using these tank-bags from Wing-tote :

Here a photo of my stuff at the Danville tank-museum ( the gray bags under the tables ) :

They are awesome , original designed to haul our tanks , but they are perfect for the trucks as well .
Unfortunately they have been discontinued , but the smaller version , the Micro-Heli bag :
http://wing-tote.com/micro_heli_bag.php
would be still big enough for a King Hauler type truck .
They are sturdy with reinforcements so you can stack several of them on top of each other plus with foam inserts .
A few months ago I had a car-accident , crashed my old Suburban , and some of my bags got thrown out of the truck on the road and all the goodies inside survived without any damage !
I gone get me a few more , now these little bit smaller micro-heli-bags ,
since the tank-bags are not available anymore .
If anybody else would be interested , I may could arrange a larger order , since I know these guys .

Man that tank tote would be great tor my king hauler, its stretched to 25 inches so it would just fit. To bad they're discontinued.

I had called these guys the other day ,
Up 100 bags they would make a new production run .
So if anybody is seriously interested , I would start a list ,
since crawler- and more tanker guys had them discovered now too .
The original price of these bags was $ 70,- …..
But these are the strongest bags , you can stack them on top of each other ,
which you can’t do with others which cost the same or even more .
Plus they come with a nice thick foam insert to custom-cut for your needs .
For what ever reason they just didn’t sell ,
so they kept dropping the price to empty there warehouse .
