Ric at GT has some in the tamya section and they are all right for the price but they need a good polish and the holes on mine needed a clean to get rid of the burs on the inside but I'm happy with them as I got them for a later project down the road and wanted something cheap for that.

But I prefer Steve's wheels and I can wait till he is back a full speed to get mine other wise there a euro companies that can give you the now look,
Just google scale aluminium Alcoa wheel and look around.........

Cheers Tracy

Steve ,
Have you considered making Trilex wheels ? like the Dayton wheels from Joe ?
Now that is something I would be in for by the “boat-load” ,
In 1.7” and 1.9” sizes

Willy , I'm trying to  I made my first set 2 - 3 years ago with a dremel and my old lathe out of brass and steel . I soon as I get the bud style under control I'll be on them . They most prob be more sofisticated then JTS' . IOW , more realistic 6 spoke and 5 spoke I grew up with these so I know them well

On that note , as most of you know who have my buds ( alum or steel ) you notice they have the tubeless profile . on making these " dayton / trilex " I grew up with the tube type (PITA) and in the past 10 years got into the tubeless . what type of "doughnut " would most like ? tube type or tubeless ?
