Sounds tempting Rob . All depends where you guys would plan to meet .
Nashville is just a 4-5 hrs trip for me . Memphis would be already an 8 hour ride .

Willy, it would be about an 7 hr ride for you to Jackson, Tn, just east of Memphis.

well , that would be for me like a ride to Indy .
Not necessarily the every-weekends-trip , but considerable .
Keep me up to date what you guys are planning

Rob, It will be a 5-6 hr drive for Willy:eek: You need to try and follow him sometime:rolleyes: And I DO stress TRY!!! I need to see how far it is from Plymouth, IN to Memphis but it can't be much farther than to Willy's for me. As long as you wait until next year for a meet, I should be able to make the trip.

Now that is funny Lynn .
In fact I used to do “Cannonball-runs” from my place to Memphis in an average of 5.5 hrs , but that was in the good old days , with less “eyes” on the roads .
These days the “Smokey & the Bandit “ style driving doesn’t cut it anymore .
To many “speed-bumps !” ( Lol )
Believe it or not , I slowed down some . Trying to stay now below the 3 digits .

Your trip to Jackson,Tn would be just a hair longer as to my place .
Maybe a 40 +/_ miles difference ( or something like that )

Great to hear of another club starting up. This shows that the hobby is really growing! The more clubs, the more the potential events and places to go to run our trucks.

Keep us up to date on what you're planning and doing.

Best of luck in the new club,

Jim

Steve, I completely understand.

Kids are our future, therefore our priority.

Joe, I was trying to get something establish in LR, but the toy show fizzled out down there. If there was enough interest, i would really like to have some thign there too.

Lynn, We plan to have this next yr as well. I know this is short notice for this year, but the sponsor of the show is a really good friend of mine and I am testing the waters for more sponsorship.....gotta start somewhere.

I will definitely keep ya on my radar for next yr. This yr, our advertising and space are free, so we want to put our best foot fwd.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome, we really appreciate the ones who can attend the event and understand the circumstances of those who can't. This is one of the reason for having this show......we are trying to capture the attendance of those people who can't make it to Indy, Stl, Michigan or places North of the Mason Dixon Line.:D:D
