Looks cool. I have a Colt myself. Have you tried 22/250 for varmints? Really happy with my Savage 12 FV!

A friend of mine has the R15 and loves it. I thought about buying one but I just put a DPMS in layaway on saturday. I went with it for the fact that i bought it for $640 out the door. Also bought this one with the collapsible stock so i can put the new SSAR15 bump stock on it!!! If you havent seen this goto youtube and search SSAR15.

I have a DPMS in 204 ruger. Love it. AR's are great for the flexability of upgrading. Mine already got a fatter grip and a Giselle 2 stage match trigger (huge improvement over standard 1 stage milspec trigger).

Looking at building a few different caliber uppers now and then down the road build lowers to complete the individual guns. For time being though can just swap upper end with the 2 takedown pins and have a diff gun.

Oh and keep in mind if you only like the R15 for the camo, you can get several "film dip" shops throughout the country to put camo of your choice on any gun.

I've heard some pretty bad things about the newer Remingtons, I'm not sure if it spreads to their AR line, but I know that they've been having some quality control issues on the 870 and 700. I've heard the same with Bushmaster, since they were bought by the same company.

I've got a mid 90s Bushmaster XM15 that my father gave to me, and it works like a top, at 50 yards on irons, it'll bury bullets through the same hole in the target.

lol craig i thought you meant a real AR15! Iwas going to buy one last december but i didnt want to spend the 1000 dollars on it. plus in the great state of NJ you cant have anything more than ten rounds in the mag, and it must be single shot, its dumb.

Mike everybody makes an AR-15 today.

A32Limited, I have an 870 Wingmaster I bought new in 1994, a 700 BDL VLS I bought new in 2003 and an 11-87 Super Magnum bought new in 2008, I can only say I have had no bad experiences with any of these three. I'm sure some people have bought lemons of all brands.

I got a DPMS AR...slick side flat top 16" barrel. Why get one with a dust cover and left handed brass blocker if I don't need it lol. However, I still prefer my Century WASR-10 :)
