View Full Version : 2012 INDY National Truck Show MOVED!

Per Cathy Scheibe (Publisher/President of Toy Trucker and Contractor), who puts on the GREAT show at Indy every year, she has signed a contract with Indianapolis Marriott-East for the 2012 show. Next year's dates are Aug. 17-19.

On line it looks like a great place. It's located on the East side at I-465 and I-70.

Just thought I'd send this out, as I just read this in the November issue of Toy Trucker & Contractor.

That sounds Great! Maybe we can have a bigger room for the mini city! Ric will have to check it out.

Does anyone know what the distance is from where they held it before?
I am around three hours from Indy, and I really want to go next year:D

It has moved from the west-south-west of Indy to east-center of Indy.

I'm hopin for a larger space - that side room was a flop......sorry i had ever thought it could work for us...

That’s my plan too , Thursday to Sunday ( staying overnight on Sunday too , driving back on Monday )
I talked to Ric today . He is leaving on Monday . This time alone , since Nat can’t make it this time . I am coming alone too , since my buddy can’t make it either this time .
Ric told me the room should be about the same size as what we are used to have at the AdamsMark . He also said that he had build a new bridge with longer ramps .
I didn’t had time to build anything new this past year , so I just gone bring my usual “ Willy's dirty fleet “ .
Looking forward to see everybody again to have a good time !

no need for a chair, the hotel in past always had plenty. I would think this new one would also.

I'm coming in Friday morning and DieselKid (Alex) will be coming in Friday evening. We'll both be staying into Sunday.

Everyone have a safe trip enroute, and we'll see you Friday!

Helping Ric with setup

Besides Chris I saw 4 other guys planning to arrive at Indy on Thursday .

“smiley” ( Keith ) with “pedalstomper” and “woodhog” with “gearjammer”
Are you guys arriving early enough on Thursday to help Ric with the unloading and setup ?
I have to deal with an unexpected family emergency and not sure if I make it up there early Thursday afternoon . Its probably gone be more like late afternoon or evening .
Don’t know yet .

How about Travis ? haven’t heard from him .
Are you coming Thursday to help with the setup ?

Hi all hope the shows going well. I was planning on being there Saturday morning. However since I haven't worked a weekend for a month, we're working this weekend! (Murphys law):rolleyes: My daughter was looking forward to coming also and she was asked to work a wedding Saturday night so it doesnt look lke we will make it:(. Have fun and take lots of video and pictures:).
