Hey everyone, I've been on this forum for a while now just looking. I finally got up the courage to start my first build. i haven't worked with styrene before so there was a lot of experimentation. Anyways, on to the build. :D

The tank is made from PVC and the frame rails are from joe's.

Great job on the trailer. And i'm wanting to do something similar.
What is the diameter of the pvc?
Can't wait to see it finished.

Thanx, Big John

The tank is made up of a 3" x 24" piece of pvc, 2 three inch caps and seven 3" couplers. The couplers are sleeved over the pipe after you dremel out the lip.

Thanks everyone for the comments! I work around these trailers every day so it was hard not to resist the urge to build one.

Thanks everyone. I'm hoping to have it finished within the next month. I still have a LOT of filling and sanding to do. Any ideas on a color? I can't seem to make up my mind.

Pretty neat to see something different and unique in a sea of flat beds, dump trailers, box trailers, and low boys. Nice work on that!

Thanks everyone. I should have some more updates in a few days. I would love to get a set of the white 2 hole wheels since every trailer has them out here. It's very rare to see shiny chrome wheels in the oilfield.

This is one good looking suck truck! With all of the Marcellus shale drilling going on around our area there are hundreds of these types of bodies on triaxle trucks. Some are working show trucks.

Thanks everyone! I run a salt water disposal in Dew, TX so i see at least 50 of these a day. I'm building this one as a prototype to make sure its possible. The next one will be functional using a nitro fuel pump. :D It will be a good way to get rid of all those pesky water puddles in the driveway. 1.5 gallons at a time. Haha.

Another small update. Getting down to the details now. I started working on the hatches and the back valves. I've also included a pic of the truck I've been working on too. :D It uses one of the bruder volvo bodies and its sitting on a cut down king hauler frame. I shortened the flatbed trailer I had and mounted it to the truck using the fifth wheel and 2 mounts I made for the front. Sorry for the blurry pics, they are from my phone. :(
