I am having trouble setting up my electronic system on my scania. I have a futaba skysport 4 radio a futaba 6 channel reciever and a dynamite esc i stole out of one of my 1/10 rc trucks. The problem i am having is that i have steering and the three speed trans is shifting but i have no forward or reverse movement. I cant read the instruction for the radio system because they are in japanese. I have steering in channel 1 of the reciever and the trans shift servo in channel 2. I dont know where to put the esc plug in the reciver. The reciever has 6 channels and a port for a tiny battery pack for power that i have also tryed pluging in. This is only a temperary setup but would like to run the truck aroun before i fork out the money for a mfu. Any help would be great. Thank you

Did esc ever get wet? That happend with my GL, changed the esc and it ran great.
If the esc didn't get wet, unplug the esc and plug it back in...if you haven't already.
Hope this help's.

The skysport 4 is a four-channel radio - enough for your truck and transmission, but this means that channels 5 and 6 on your receiver will be empty.

I found a German manual, at least it shows you a bit and you can translate parts with google:
http://data.robbe-online.net/robbe_pdf/P1122_1-F4051.pdf

Next to the sticks, there should be numbers, these correspond to the channel numbers on the receiver.

Next question is whether your receiver is BEC enabled and whether your ESC has BEC. Battery Elimination Circuit means that the ESC can power the receiver and servos - in that case, do not use a battery pack as one of the electronic parts might get fried.

Into which of the first four channels on the receiver you plug your servos/ESC does not matter to the servos/ESC, but they will then be related to different stick movements.
