Would love to see this on a Wdecio Pete or a King Hauler. The roll off does both functions, dumps and rolls off just like the real thing.

Thats just like the container truck on a pete chassis we have at work. Only with out the hook lift. That would be a cool project!

I know a couple guys here on the board that are building some. One is the exact bed you posted which has been on order for over a year. The other will be an American style with a cable to pull the bed onto the truck. To get the bed off you gust raise the bed like a dump truck and let it roll off just like the name says but the do use the cable to control the speed that it rolls off at.

Don't know if you realize it or not Travis but hooklifts are used in America.

My fire company has a hook lift mounted on a super duty chassis with 4 different "skids" to take around for different things. Is a very handy system.

This is the same type of lift unit the US Military uses on the HEMMT trucks. There are many different configurations of these trucks.
