Hi guys,

Not sure I'm in the good topic for that thread, if not, mods will move it at the good one.
I want to introduce you Reynald, a guy from the Quebec city area. He prefer to not be a real member for now because he can't write in english but I think his truck must be seen!

It's a Kenworth T660 at 1:9 scale, the scale for fitting with his train locomotive! It's move with a 24v motor and a Metabo hand drill transmission.
Not finished yet and a bit stopped since some months for health problems, he's slowly back on it now. He just got 74 years and as he says: the secret is patience... If you have questions, I'll try to translate them to him, as for his answer. I put at the end some links to his railroad equipment, another must see

That's incredible! The cab looks amazing. After seeing it wearing a coat of primer, it looks so smooth and almost plastic or fiberglass like, but no, it's metal. He couldn't have been working on it to long. The T660 isn't that old yet! Of course, I build slower then the average modeler.

Hi everyone!

I just received these pics of the Reynalds Kenworth. He said that it's almost finished, but have some details to add. :)
It's also a good time to see his excavator

That is a beautiful model! Good to see an update on it. It looks like it's all done. It must be wonderful to work in a larger scale, where you don't have to fiddle around with little screws. Everything is larger. What a great looking truck and trailer. The fact that it's mostly metal, around the hood and fenders, is amazing. Truly some excellent metal working skills, to pound those curves out.
