Why is the board loading so slow? I couldn't even get on yesterday and barely today. Modelman is having trouble too. He contacted me from Scale4x4 to find out whats up.

Same here. Could not log in at all yesterday. Said server was down, today as u can see I'm here but very very slow.

Same here, I keep getting a error message saying that the server has timed out and when I get on to the forum and every page I try to look at takes an age to load

it took thirty second for this page to reload when I clicked on the last post after a new post's search

what's going on

also the time stamp on the post's that i have made sinc this morning seam to be wrong

I was the same. From the trace I did yesterday it looked like the hosting server was having problems. But it seems to be a little better to day. At least we can get the pages to load today, even though it might be slower. Slow is better then none.

Yes, thank you Travis.:D When I tried to get on the forum yesterday, I kept getting a message that I needed the proxy...And I thought??? what is a proxy?:confused: Well if the board keeps running slow, that three legged turtle just may pass us:D It's all good, and i'm glad it wasn't a virus.:eek::eek::eek:

No it is not I can get on other forums faster than on here, you tube is based in the USA and I get on there ok

A little better speed today, thought that it was my computer yesterday, had only 10% of speed paid for, telecom sucks.
As said above, hope there´s backup if a major brakedown happens. Would feel very sorry if everything got wasted another time.

Just to clarify again it was not our forum it is fine, it is the host that was having the problem. Thanks for the compliments the moderators do appreciate it.:D I also thought some would have taken the outage as an opportunity to leave the computer alone and spend some time on their builds.:p

Seriously!!!!!!! Your pissed because a FREE to use site is slow to respond!!!!!!! It is in fact a server problem and everything is being done to correct the problem. You threaten to leave here and stop posting ,,,, I personally say don't let the door hot you in the azz
There are lots of people that devote alot of time to keep this forum up and running for FREE!!!!!

I for one take offense to your comments and feel other moderators may as well,I am in no way speaking for others but please think of the time and effort put into this site before you make statements like that

Bre, This is the second time this forum has gone down in its short life and there are some things that are out of the forum owners hands,
Every forum has had some server / technical related issues and for you to say you will stop posting because there was a technical problem that inconvenienced everyone I would say your just being selfish, there are a lot of people here members/mods/admins that make this forum great and you don't see them having a cry because they missed a day plus of RCT&C and threatening to leave.
Take a deep breath and remember the world doesn't stop every time the computer goes down because of a technical problem......
