I really think you did a good job on the paint, and I love the graphics on the unit. That orange really pops. And i'm a tanker kind of guy myself.
GOOD JOB!!!:D:D:D

For your first truck it looks real good and I like the way you brought it all together with the theme and color. I guess it is safe to say it has a full set of bearings.:D

My vinyl cutter came in handy for this one.
I sat there for a week trying to figure it out. My wife told me not to over think it and go simple. After I told her thats what I did when I asked her to marry me, I got the stink eye and followed her directions.

Needless to say, Yes, it has a full set of bearing in it. It has more bearings in it after upgrading the transmission then any other RC I have ever seem. I also upgraded the screws to use allan heads. That was a b**ch as well to find them all. After I was done I found that there is a screw kit available .

I drive it about 2-3 times a month its a joy. I primarily race 5th scale so its an entire different animal.

5th scale now that is an animal in its self. I have the 5B ss kit, the only r/c I have that you realize you have been playing for 45min non stop when it runs out of gas. To make it worse Large Scale R/C is just 45min from my house.

I like the truck, but that is one nice workbench you have too! Mine looks like a tornado went through it, but at least it's well lit, kind of like yours! Welcome to the forum, by the way.

What's this workbench you speak of? Is that the flat surface thing I built in my garage years ago and haven't seen since?

Graphics are hot! What did you use for them? I mean did you make them yourself or premade. Either way nice job.

:D I post a truck and you all look at my workbench.:D

Im a freak when it comes to my tools and workspace. I have 2 exact setups, One at my house and one at my shop. I use a tool and put it back. I dont even need to look when I grab one, I know exactly where it is. Yep, A FREAK... The rest of my garage is a mess but my bench is located in the Twilight Zone.

The graphics on the tank are simply vinyl. I did use a vinyl cutter however after I was done decided it would have been easier to just use a straight edge and a razor blade. You can go to any sign ship and get some scraps or just buy a few feet of it. Its cheap and do overs are acceptable if you screw up.

That orange paint and decals really pops off the truck and trailer....you have to try to get some outside shots and let that baby light up

BTW, thats workbench is a bit too clean for me:p..You should see my work bench area days before a meet...It would give you a heart attack :D
