Not sure if this is the right section to post this, but here is my first atempt at modifing, my early ideas for the extension. I have fitted the tamiya king pin and cut bent some aluminum cheqre plate ready for the join. I will be using some angle down each side and underneath for strengh and to hide the edge.

Managed this morning to stengthen the underside and attach all the top chequer plate and even a little test run to see how it handled. Happy so far just got side rails to cut and fix and then some paint

the trailer looks great you should be real proud of it. Looking at it you can tell you took your time and kept it simple and it shows this is one of the best looking Bruder conversions of a trailer that I have seen.
