Being new to this still,I was'nt sure if this has been already used, but I was thinking that can a cordlesss screw driver inairs be used for final gearing.the real machines use a planetary outter at the hub.has this already been done?
I'm makeing a simple dozer using a windsheildwiper motor and though what if it needs more gearing and can do this at the hub? I would like it to be very powerful to look real.with a finished weight about 90 lbs.
thanks

I've seen this done with a wheel loader. If I remember right, the builder did use some cordless screwdriver or drill planetaries in the hubs. The forum it was posted on has been long gone, and with it, the information that was posted there, but you are really only limited by your own skills and equipment. The sky is the limit. Go for it.

Thank you ,I just started watching and reveiwing the many builds going on and have only seen a limted number of them.I did find a pic of your terex it looks absulutey nice .and a great way of incorperateing that drive system.I see many different items have been tryed.I'm just way behind of what is already been tryed.and need to ask stuff once in a while.tom
