my wife had the opertunity to see this this morning  How this guy laid this baby over is beyond me . I've pulled the same size excavator arund this intersection for at least 10 years on a tag-a-long that use to be a 12 ton TK converted to a 18 ton that wiped worse then a happy dogs tail . Only way is to be sailing to make the green light  which is a NO No with a 26,000-30,000 # excavator on a tag  here my wife thought it was my 307 I sold last year .

Yikes! Good thing no one was hurt! I agree something had to of broke. If it was speed would the tractor have gone over too? Maybe the load wasn't balanced right?

guys knowing the intersection and moving excavators of that size on a tag , the guy was just goin to fast . I think I know who it is too  ( glad I'm gettin out of competin with them ;) ) I it's a 315 or 312 I'm leaning to 315 should not really be towed on a tag ( to high of CG ) . There's a slight incline at the intersection that makes it a beach to pull out loaded if you get the light . It would've taken 2 flats on the side of roll over to lay it over . Yea he's lucky no one got hurt . thats my high-school in the background , If school was in session , surely someone would've. At that time in the morning that intersection gets packed with kids goin into to school .
ps : if something did brake , wouldn't supprise me

Yer correct Steve, a 315 is toooooo big for a tandem axle trailer, hauled a rental last year for a demolition job, never again on my trailer. 20 ton ramp style.
