Hello all. It was just the other day i mentioned to Dabears how i clean and store my truck. He mentioned how he needs to make some boxes for his rig to get to Indy so I thought i would share some pics of how i haul my truck around. This box has worked very well for me. after almost 19 hrs on the highway, along the north shore of lake superior and not a scratch nor moved an inch. I payed 23 bucks for it at walmart.

I like that idea! I'm making mine. this weekend as its long over due. This is what i'm going to do. Tamiya cowboy posted this over on another forum looks easy. I got 2 boards glue and a box of screws for $30. Should be enough to do 2 trailers and maybe 2-3 trucks?. I only have the 1 truck and 2 trailers

Thanks for the link Aaron. I love the foam box idea! I will use that for my trailers for sure!

Tamiya cowboy needed 14 boxes!!?? Wow! I'm so jealous . Wish I had that much rigging.:eek:

That's an old thread. He has more then that by now lol. This way you don't have to pack those air bags around your rig it'll surely scratch it at some point. Glad I could help :)

Very true, I have always had to pay attention where I set the air bags down not to get them dirty.... Very tedious type of handling. That's why I like the foam box design. I'm gonna keep my silver tote but make a foam insert for it. My nephew found the lode king sign and thought of me and my truck so I thought, nice way to use it.:)
